Description: This is a small restaurant and kind of a deli market that sells Andean products like cheese, quinua, kiwicha, kañiwa, chuño, canned trout, among others. They offer empanadas, sandwiches and sodas. On weekends they have salteñas and cancacho (roasted pork or lamb macerated in ají - red chili pepper - and oil).

This place is best known for the folk performances they offer during the nights which are considered probably as the best folk show in the country. They perform folk dances not only from Puno but from all around the country. You can see morenada, diablada, llamerada, caporales, saya and other dances from the Puno Tonderoregion, as well as marinera, tondero, festejo, waltz from the coastal regions of Lima, Ica, La Libertad, Piura and Lambayeque, and dances from Arequipa, Ayacucho, Moquegua and other regions of the country. This show is a must when visiting Lima.
During lunch time they open their restaurant that serves traditional dishes from Puno like cancacho (a special version of roasted lamb), chairo (a soup with black dehydrated potatoes and aji panca - red chili pepper), cordero frito (fried lamb) and many other traditional dishes from Puno.
Since the place is usually crowded it is advisable to make reservations in advance and to be patient to deal with the overwhelmed waiters.
