This is a small restaurant located behind the Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano (ICPNA) in a quiet area of Miraflores, at walking distance from the Main Plaza of Miraflores. It is part of the Tradición Morena chain and is decorated in an old traditional and rustic hacienda style. The service is very friendly and the ambience is kind of intimate.

It mainly serves anticuchos, rachi (tripe), chinchulines (guts), mollejitas (gizzards), and tamales, but you can also get some grilled steaks. As a refreshment you can get chicha morada and order picarones, arroz con leche and mazamorra morada as dessert.

Credit cards are welcome.

Price Range: Inexpensive to moderate.

They also have some dishes which are a mix of the previous ones. For dessert you can order picarones (kind of doughnuts covered with syrup), mazamorra morada (a dessert made of purple corn) or arroz con leche (prepared with rice, milk, sugar, raisins and cinnamon).

Grima Anticuchos is also known as La Esquina de la Grimanesa (The Corner of Grimanesa) because of Grimanesa Vargas Araujo, the lady who prepares really good anticuchos in this street corner for more than 30 years. She only offers anticuchos, which are served with potatoes, and choclo (boiled corn). You can find her every night from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm but Sundays. There is no delivery service but you can call to order in advance. Only cash is accepted.

Located block and a half from the main plaza of Miraflores, this is an elegant and comfortable restaurant. They are especialized on grilled meats, offering Argentinian and American beef as well as lamb, pork, cabrito (tender goat), rabbit and cuy (guinea pig). They also offer anticuchos (beef heart skewers), chinchulines (guts), sausage, morcilla (black pudding or blood sausage), kidneys, and BBQ ribs. Other non grilled dishes include soups, creams, carpaccios, steaks, lomo saltado, tacu tacu, shrimp, fish and seafood. The bar has nice drinks and a good variety of wines. A parrillada para dos (grill for two) is quite good and actually kind of big for two, besides you can choose among wine, sangría or soda to drink.

Description: This chain of pollerias started in Habich and from there it expanded to other places in Lima. They offer an excellent pollo a la brasa (rotisserie chicken), as well as anticuchos and other grilled dishes. The restaurants are very comfortable and have a very fine service.

Description: For those really adventurous this could be all an experience. This place opens only during nights ( 7:00 pm till midnight) and is located next to Lobatón marketplace in Lince. They sell food in streetcarts and you will have to eat standing up or inside your car. It is very popular among locals. They offer anticuchos (beef heart skewers), brochetas de pollo (chicken skewers), rachi (tripe), corazoncitos (chicken hearts) and mollejitas (chicken gizzards). If you ask for the mixto you will get a mix of rachi, mollejitas, and corazoncitos, being this dish their specialty. If you ask for the mixto completo you get a mixto plus one anticucho. No credit cards accepted.
